How does the digital portrait drawing experience work

1.

Booking

  • You fill out the form for an availability check. I will respond within two business days.

  • During a video/phone call, we go through the options and your ideas together, as well as the practical details, and I will put together an offer that matches both sides. You will have two weeks to accept it and pay the deposit - 20%. Booking confirmed!

2.

Strike a Pose

  • On the day I will arrive earlier at the venue - usually within 30 minutes before the start of the event. After setting up and warming up, I start interacting with the guests by either inviting them to sit for the portrait or have their photograph taken for portrait collection at the end of the event.

  • I sketch from live or from the photographs for no longer than 10 minutes each portrait, using iPad Pro and Procreate. I then print the portraits with Canon Selphy CP1500 printer on a glossy post card size paper. The drawings can be individual or in couple. For the set up I need a table and a power socket, as well as a strong WiFi connection.

    All guests images are taken with my personal iPhone and deleted straight after the event for privacy reasons.

3.

Art handing over

  • The portraits are provided straight away to the guests, sent instantly to their email address or AirDrop, as well as printed out on A6 post card size paper. In case of a larger number of guests, drawings can also be displayed for everyone to enjoy and offered to the guests at the end of the event in sleek, recyclable plastic envelopes for protection.

  • For a truly personalised touch, you can opt for a custom template, incorporating your brand logo or colour palette. Whether it's as subtle as adding your logo to the mock-up or as bold as crafting a fully bespoke design, I'm always excited for a new design challenge!

  • Within a week after the event, you will receive an invoice with the remaining balance. You can check the pricing here.

  • Digital Procreate files which get printed on A6 post card size paper

  • Yes - text, logo, simple frames can be added. More complex backgrounds will require an additional cost. Special envelopes or folders can also be added.

  • A6 size - 8 people

  • Yes, but no more than 2 people per sketch.

  • Yes! Portraits are carefully placed in size appropriate recyclable plastic envelopes to avoid damage and gifted to the guests at the end of the event.

  • The minimum hire time is 3 hours.

    • Creating the portraits beforehand to be offered as gifts at the event.

    • Finishing the drawings in the studio.

    • Prioritising family and close friends.

  • Yes, you can! The resolution of the files is 300 dpi which allows great quality when printed out on any surface and at any size.

  • Only A6 post card size.
